GBA closes 4,800sf restaurant lease

LAKELAND - Paul Kiang, CCIM, CPM, and Larry Kiang of GBA Realty LLC have negotiated a five-year lease of the 4,800sf Asian and International  Buffet at Winn Dixie-anchored Imperial Christina Plaza in Lakeland.

Lenore Reynolds, CCIM, of Bruce Strumpf Inc.  represented the landlord, Lakeland Associates LP.

Texas de Brazil takes MetWest space

TAMPA - Texas de Brazil, a Brazilian steakhouse, has signed a lease at MetWest International for its first restaurant on Florida's Gulf Coast. Florida Retail Partners President Kalyn Brandewie negotiated the transaction on behalf of the property owner, MetLife.

Colliers Tampa Bay signs HSN to 17,000sf

TAMPA - The Home Shopping Network has signed a lease to occupy 17,273sf of space to open an outlet store within the Buccaneer Square Shopping Center at 8515 W. Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa.

James Parker, director of commercial services with Colliers International Tampa Bay Florida, represented the tenant; Kerri Atkins with RCM Property Group represented the landlord.

HSN operates 25 retail outlet stores including Florida locations in Largo, Brandon, and Orlando.

CBRE closes sale of 47,000sf Sweetbay center

ODESSA - CB Richard Ellis arranged the sale of Keystone Crossings at 17649 Gunn Highway in Odessa. The transaction involved the assumption of approximately $4.5 million in financing.

CBRE's National Retail Investment Group - Florida Investment team based in Miami, in collaboration with the CBRE Private Client Group in Tampa, exclusively represented the sellers, affiliates of Greensboro, N.C.-based Bell Partners Inc. Keystone Crossings was acquired by N.Y.-based Flag Wharf Inc.

Belleair leases 25,000sf at Pensacola shopping center

PINELLAS PARK - Belleair Development Group has leased more than 25,000sf to two new tenants in its Plaza North Shopping Center in Pensacola.

Tractor Supply Company has leased 23,151sf and Flip Flops & More has leased 2,500sf in the in-line portion of the 82,000sf shopping center at 3 W. Nine Mile Road.
 

Belleair Development signs Verizon Wireless

PINELLAS PARK -Belleair Development Group (BDG) has purchased a site in St. Augustine, Florida for the development of a freestanding Verizon Wireless Store.

The 1.33-acre site at 1860 Old Moultrie Road was purchased from Hillcrest Properties Inc. Hawkins Construction of Tarpon Springs is currently building the 4,500sf facility which is scheduled to open in late July.

Calkain closes $572 psf Verizon investment sale

BRANDON - Calkain Companies has procured the sale of a NNN lease Verizon location in Brandon. The $572.25 psf transaction was completed due to the marketing efforts of Patrick Nutt, senior associate of Calkain Realty Advisors, on behalf of its client, BW 11395 Causeway LLC. The building, occupied by Verizon Wireless, was sold to an investor from North Carolina who was actively seeking high-credit, passive investments in the Southeast.

RMC to lease Marina Village

Fischbach closes $780,000 land sale

LAKELAND - Reed Fischbach of Fischbach Land Company in Brandon closed the $780,000 sale of a commercial parcel of land at the corner of Imperial Boulevard and South Florida Avenue in Lakeland.

The property was purchased by the Ferber Company, which has plans for redevelopment that include a new Chipotle Grill and an Aspen Dental office. Fischbach was the only broker involved in the transaction.

NAP earns Gold for Publix center

SARASOTA - The U.S. Green Building Council awarded North American Properties - Southeast Inc. a LEED Gold Certification for Publix at Bee Ridge, a grocery-anchored shopping center in Sarasota.

The neighborhood center is the first LEED certification for North American Properties and the first LEED Gold certification for Publix Super Markets.
