Grubb & Ellis leases 4,000sf

TAMPA - Grubb & Ellis|Commercial Florida negotiated a sublease agreement for 4,000sf of Class A office space in the 100 N. Tampa Street building in downtown Tampa.

Richard Andretta, SIOR, vice president in the firm’s Office Group, and associate Rob Turner negotiated the sublease representing the new subtenant, Grubb & Ellis Company, which will occupy suite 2450 in the building for a new Southeast regional office headed by Senior Vice President Tim Rivers and Executive Managing Director Randy Buddemeyer.  

Taylor & Mathis closes new MetWest deals

TAMPA - Taylor & Mathis of Florida announced that Baldwin Connelly, headquartered at One MetroCenter, and Flad Architects have signed leases at One MetroCenter at MetWest International. Taylor & Mathis Managing Director of Leasing Angela Odell negotiated the transactions on behalf of the owner, MetLife.

Jimmy Garvey and Phil Dinkins of CLW Real Estate Services Group represented Baldwin Connelly in its lease renewal and expansion and Flad Architects, respectively.

Hauger-Bunch closes 6,500sf lease

LAKELAND- Hauger-Bunch Inc. leased 6,582sf of office space in Suite 100 and Suite 130 at 20 Lake Wire Drive in Lakeland.

The property, owned by Lakeside Properties of Florida LLC, of Lakeland, was leased to BayCare HomeCare Inc. for a period of five years. BayCare HomeCare offers a full range of home health services and supplies.

Lisa Parks of Hauger-Bunch Inc., represented the owner, and James Orr of D.F. Heuchan LLC represented the tenant.

Ross Realty sells Bloomingdale Office Building

VALRICO - The Ross Realty Group Inc. announced the sale of the Bloomingdale Office Building at 1438 - 1440 E. Bloomingdale Ave. in Valrico.

The facility consists of 2,554sf with Class A finishes. It is in Bloomingdale Oaks Executive Park. The property sold for $270,000 ($105.71 psf). The buyer was Rev1 Power Services Inc.

TAMPA - Grubb & Ellis|Commercial Florida completed a new office lease agreement for suite 100 with 3,863sf of office space in The Pan Am Building on Pan Am Circle Road in Tampa.

Richard Andretta, SIOR, vice president in the firm's Office Group, and associate Rob Turner negotiated the agreement on behalf of the tenant, Youth Villages, based in Bartlett, Tenn.

The landlord is Pan Am Building LLC of Tampa.

M&M sells 4,600sf office

TAMPA - Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services announced the sale of a 4,666sf South Tampa office building at 3301 West Gandy Blvd. The asset commanded a sales price of $540,000.

Francesco P. Carriera, senior associate, and Michael J. Jaworski, investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap's Tampa office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the Florida-based seller. The buyer, a limited liability company also based in Florida, was represented by Mark Paris of RE/MAX.

Taylor & Mathis leases 12,000sf at Baypoint

ST. PETERSBURG - Taylor & Mathis has completed six leasing transactions totaling 12,150sf in the second quarter at Baypoint Commerce Center, BOMA's 2009 Regional Office Park of the Year. Year-to-date leasing activity at the project now totals 48,536sf.

Managed by Penn-Florida Companies, the 15-building, 699,411sf office complex in the Gateway submarket of Pinellas County has won six TOBY awards in the past three years.

TAMPA - Grubb & Ellis|Commercial Florida negotiated an eight-year office lease of 8,746sf in the Tampa Airport Marriott Hotel at 4200 George Bean Parkway.

Mia Jarrell, managing director of Grubb & Ellis|Commercial Florida in Tampa, and Anne Deason-Spencer, vice president of the firm's office group, negotiated the transaction representing The Florida Bar. The landlord is Tampa-based Marriott Hotel Services Inc.
