Commercial Florida marks 6,200sf sale

BOCA RATON - Peter D. Reed and George Sacks, principals of Commercial Florida Realty Services, announced the sale of 6,245sf at Sanctuary Centre, Suite D200, at 4800 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton. The condominium unit was sold to Smart Travel Group Ltd. for $875,000.

Sanctuary Centre is 180,000sf office condominium project located in the affluent eastern Boca Raton submarket where Yamato Road intersects with Federal Highway. Commercial Florida manages and markets the Sanctuary Centre.

1450 Brickell earns LEED Gold certification

MIAMI - Just days after unveiling that 1450 Brickell now has 226,000sf of office space leased, developer Rilea Group announced that the Class A building has been awarded LEED Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.

The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System is the nation’s accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of environmentally-sound buildings.

Kane & Company opens 3,000sf

FORT LAUDERDALE - Kane & Company P.A., CPAs and Business Advisors, has opened an additional office at 100 NE 3rd Ave., Suite 470, Fort Lauderdale, bringing their total number of offices in Florida to five. Headquartered in Miami, its other offices are located in Boca Raton, Orlando and Naples. The new Fort Lauderdale office has 3,000sf and supports 10 employees.

NAI Rauch closes 5,500sf clinic lease

HALLANDALE - Bill McConnell of NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co., as exclusive landlord agent, represented the lessor and tenant in a lease transaction at Hallandale Professional Park at 1100 E. Hallandale Beach Blvd., Hallandale.

The lessee, Patient First Medical Center leased 5,550sf of office space to be utilized as a medical clinic.
 

NAI Rauch leases 2,600sf dental office

FORT LAUDERDALE - Stephen A. Heim, CCIM, of NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co., represented the tenant, Brad W. Graff, D.M.D., P.A., in a recent lease transaction at the Emerald Lakes Plaza office building located at 3107 Sterling Road, Suite 108, Fort Lauderdale. The 2,686sf office will be utilized as a dental office and leased for 62 months.
 

NAI Rauch closes 4,800sf extension

HOLLYWOOD - Bill McConnell of NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co., as exclusive landlord agent, represented the lessor and tenant in a lease transaction at Bank of America Office Building located at 3801 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood. The lessee, Hollywood Pavillion LLC, extended the lease on its 4,800sf of office space that is being utilized as a rehabilitation center.
 

Keller Williams closes 11,000sf lease

MIAMI - KW Commercial, a division of Keller Williams Premier Properties Miami, announced the successful lease of more than 11,000sf of office space at the 9300 Building located in the Dadeland Office Park in the Kendall submarket of Miami.

Paul L. White, John Morris and Susan MacArthur of KW Commercial represented First Equity Mortgage Bankers Inc., based in Puerto Rico, in the relocation of their corporate offices in Miami from the Datran Center II office building.

The lease is for 11,128sf for a six year term, full service, with a build out.

Grubb & Ellis to lease Plaza 100

MIAMI - Grubb & Ellis Company has been selected by Beacon Real Estate Investments LLC as the leasing agent for approximately 165,000sf of Class A office space at Plaza 100, located at 100 N.E. 3rd Ave., in Fort Lauderdale.

Stephen Rutchik, vice president, and Jonathan Kingsley, executive vice president and managing director of Grubb & Ellis’ South Florida offices, will handle the leasing for the property.

Marcus & Millichap sells Century Village Medical Office

WEST PALM BEACH - Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services announced the sale of Century Village Medical Office, a 28,346sf office building. The property commanded a sales price of $5,000,000 representing $175 psf.

Associate John Broussard of the Fort Lauderdale office represented the seller of the property, a limited liability company from Fort Lauderdale. Vice President Investments Douglas K. Mandel and Associate Adam Kristol, also of the Fort Lauderdale office, secured the buyer of the property, a limited liability company from Boca Raton.

Calkain closes $5.5M Blue Cross sale

MIAMI - Calkain Companies, a national real estate investment brokerage firm, has procured the sale of a Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida building in Miami's Kendall neighborhood.

The $5,515,000 sale for the 5,170sf building equated to a price psf of $1,066.73. Located directly across from The Falls Mall, a Simon Properties owned 800,000sf, high-end retail center, the asset generated tremendous interest from both foreign and domestic investors, according to the company.
