Franklin Street sells $3.6M showroom

MIAMI - Franklin Street Real Estate Services announced the sale of the International Granite & Marble showroom and warehouse at 3655 N.W. 115 Ave. in Doral. The sale of the 35,720sf building closed for $3,661,300, which translates to $102.50 psf.

Joel A. Kattan and Hernan Prohaszka represented the seller, and Bernardo Manrique of Miami Partners Realty represented the buyer. The property sold to an owner/user that paid all cash.

The property, located in Miami International Business Parks, previously sold for $2.8 million in 2005.

Cushman closes $2.9M warehouse sale

FORT LAUDERDALE - Cushman & Wakefield announced that Salpro Ltd. has acquired 2832 Center Port Circle in Pompano Beach for $2.9 million. The seller was Phillips Holdings LLC. This is the second building sale in Center Port that Cushman & Wakefield has completed in the past 20 days.

The Cushman & Wakefield South Florida Industrial Team of Chris Metzger, Rick Etner, Sky Groden, Christopher Thomson and Justin Cope represented Salpro Ltd. in the purchase of the property and in negotiations with the owner of the property.

Flagler leases 28,000sf to Quick Shipping

CORAL GABLES - Flagler Real Estate Services LLC, Flagler's brokerage and property management arm, has recorded a new 10-year, 28,818sf lease valued at $2.5 million that introduces Quick Shipping - a logistics company specializing in deliveries to Central America - as the latest tenant to the Beacon Centre commercial park in Doral.

Grubb & Ellis closes 55,000sf in deals

MIAMI - Grubb & Ellis Company has completed 55,000sf of industrial transactions in South Florida, totaling in excess of $2.6 million.

In the largest of the transactions, Erick A. Padilla, senior associate, Industrial Group, represented SID Signs International Distribution in the lease of 30,000sf of warehouse/distribution space at Miami International Commerce Center, at 7950 NW 14th St., from PS Business Park.

PS Business Parks opens 135,000sf MICC expansion

DORAL - PS Business Parks Inc. has unveiled 135,000sf of new industrial space at Miami International Commerce Center at 8216 NW 14 St. in Doral.

Both buildings, which can be divided into 3,000sf to 7,000sf increments, bring the park to more than 3.2 msf of multitenant, light industrial and flex space.

MICC has maintained 95% occupancy for three consecutive years, PS Business Parks reported.

Cushman sells $4.9M Public Storage property

FORT LAUDERDALE - Cushman & Wakefield announced recently that Rexall Sundown has acquired 3001 Center Port Circle in Pompano Beach for $4.9 million. The seller was Public Storage.

The Cushman & Wakefield South Florida Industrial Team of Chris Metzger, Rick Etner, Sky Groden, Christopher Thomson and Justin Cope represented Public Storage in marketing the property for sale and in negotiations with Rexall Sundown.

Doral One sells unit at The Village at Beacon Lakes

MIAMI - Doral One Realty arranged the sale of a new industrial condo unit at The Village at Beacon Lakes Phase II at 2020 NW 129th Ave., Unit  207, Miami. The property was acquired by Oristas Associates LLC for $720,000 or $109.31 psf

Roger Zuniga, senior industrial associate from Doral One Realty, represented the buyer. George Pino, vice president commercial sales and leasing from Flagler Real Estate Services, represented the seller.

NAI Rauch closes 13,000sf sale

SUNRISE - Candela Jewelry Corp. (d/b/a Sunset Jewelry Inc.) has sold its 13,027sf industrial/flex building at 4507 NW 103rd Ave., Sunrise, to U.S. Tian Song Inc. for $750,000. The building will be used for manufacturing purposes. Executive Associate Michael W. Rauch of NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co., Fort Lauderdale, represented the seller. The buyer was secured by Ron Glick of Stiles Realty.
 

DCT leases 201,000sf to DHL

MIAMI - DCT Industrial Trust Inc., an industrial real estate company, signed a lease totaling 201,000sf at its Miami International Commerce Center with DHL Global Forwarding Americas, a leader in the air and ocean freight markets as well as one of the largest freight forwarders in the European overland transportation business. DHL Global Forwarding will occupy 100% of the facility.

MPC gets 8,900sf tenant

MIRAMAR - World Courier Ground, a same-day courier company, will expand and relocate its Southeast regional headquarters to the Miramar Park of Commerce.

World Courier Ground will move to 8,917sf of office and warehouse space in MPC-11B in September. The warehouse facility features both dock high and drive-in access.

Mike Torna of Flagler Real Estate Services represented World Courier Ground. Maridee Bell, vice president of Sunbeam Properties, developer of the park, represented the park.
