Konover leases 1,500sf to Vineland Bistro

KISSIMMEE - Konover South LLC announced that Vineland Bistro has signed a multiyear 1,542sf lease at Konover South’s Publix-anchored, 107,138sf Poinciana Place shopping center at US 192 and SR 535 in Kissimmee. Company leasing specialist Michael Fetherston represented Konover South.

Other tenants include Smokey Bones Barbeque & Grill, Blockbuster Video, Burger King, Coast Dental, China Pearl, Fuera de Serie, Gemstone Properties, Mt. Sinai Christian Assemblies, Nailstyle, and Pizza and Pasta Express.

C&W closes leases at Berry Town Plaza

DAVENPORT - Cushman & Wakefield Associate Director Mindy Boehm announced two new leases for Berry Town Plaza in Davenport. Boehm represented the landlord in a three-year lease for an Edy’s Ice Cream Shop and discounted attraction tickets sales office. Boehm also represented the landlord in a two-year lease for Number 1 Broker, a real estate office performing brokerage, funding and property management services.

CBRE closes $12M shopping center sale

ORLANDO - Through the combined efforts of the Orlando and Jacksonville offices, CB Richard Ellis facilitated the sale of Pleasant Hill Commons shopping Center in Kissimmee.

Dan Baker and Cliff Taylor, both first vice presidents within the Private Client Group - Capital Markets, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of MCP Retail LLC, an Orlando-based retail developer. The selling price was $12,375,000 or $175 psf.

SVN leases 1,400sf to Tim’s Wine Market

OVIEDO - Sperry Van Ness completed the leasing of 1,433sf of retail space. Harbert Realty Services is the owner of The Solary, a mixed-use, two-story building on Lockwood Boulevard in Oviedo. Trish Walden of Sperry Van Ness Florida Commercial Real Estate Advisors represented Tim’s Wine Market as the tenant representative for all the franchisees.

Century completes Ormond Beach Mall

ORMOND BEACH - Century Retail announced completion of the redevelopment construction at Ormond Beach Mall, anchored by a Publix supermarket and 20,000sf of small shop space. Construction commenced in April 2009.

Ormond Beach Mall is in the city of Ormond Beach on Ocean Shore Drive between Longwood and Lynnhurst Drives.

Realvest closes 4,500sf sale

ORLANDO - NAI Realvest closed the $600,000 sale of a 4,500sf retail building at 900 N. Orlando Ave. in Winter Park at the intersection of US 17-92 and Lee Road.

Jack W. Lynch, senior associate at NAI Realvest, brokered the transaction representing the sellers, Christene and Steve Spatafora of Winter Park. The buyer was NG&G of Lincoln, R.I.

Inland closes $12M shopping center buy

KISSIMMEE - The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies Inc. announced the acquisition of the Pleasant Hill Commons shopping center in Kissimmee by Inland Diversified Real Estate Trust Inc.

The 70,642sf grocery-anchored shopping center is the second acquisition for Inland Diversified. The purchase was facilitated by Lou Quilici of Inland Real Estate Acquisitions Inc.

Realvest closes 7,000sf sale

ORLANDO - NAI Realvest completed the sale of a 7,000sf industrial building at 189 Jamaica Lane off South Orange Avenue in Orlando.

Michael Heidrich, principal at NAI Realvest, negotiated the transaction representing the buyer, The Jamaica Group LLC, a local firm that paid $525,000 for the property.

The seller is Ana T. Lopez-Giraldo of Orlando.

First Capital leases 4,900sf

ORMOND BEACH - Craig Katterfield of First Capital Property Group Inc. completed a five-year lease deal for 4,900sf of retail space at Rivergate Village Shopping Center on South Nova Road in Ormond Beach. The tenant is Peggy’s Discount Health, a local chain selling health foods and organic products.

Katterfield also closed a 40-month lease with Liberty Tax Service for 1,600sf at Apopka Square Shopping Center on 875 N. Semoran Blvd. in Apopka. Katterfield represented the landlord, Festival Properties Inc.

Regency closes Little Caesars lease

WINTER SPRINGS - Regency Centers has leased restaurant space at the Willa Springs shopping center to Little Caesars. Little Caesars has leased 1,300sf of restaurant space and is slated to open for business in the second quarter of 2010. Little Caesars is at Red Bug Lake Road and Tuskawilla Road in Winter Springs.

According to Cary Anderson, senior leasing agent, the 89,930sf shopping center is anchored by a 44,271sf Publix alongside national retailers such as Starbucks, Rita’s Italian Ice, Radio Shack, GameStop and The UPS Store.
