Costco construction begins at Westfield Sarasota Square

SARASOTA - Officials with Westfield Sarasota Square announced the start of construction of Costco, slated to open in summer of 2012 on the southeast side of the shopping center.

The addition of Costco follows a $50 million revitalization at Westfield Sarasota Square, which included a full interior renovation. The center also added a 12-screen AMC Theatre, new dining selections and 25,000sf of new retail along with the introduction of enhanced consumer amenities.
