McKibbon opens new Homewood Suites hotel

TAMPA - Homewood Suites by Hilton, the international brand of all-suite, residential-style hotels, recently announced the opening of its newest property in Tampa. The seven-story, 144-suite hotel is owned by McKibbon Hotel Group and is managed by McKibbon Hotel Management. General Manager Todd Kinney brings nearly 20 years of hotel management to the venture, which is coupled with more than seven years of experience from Director of Sales Mike Nealon.

Located at 5385 Avion Park Drive, the hotel is in the Westshore business district and next to Tampa International Airport and Tampa International Plaza. Major nearby corporations include Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Humana Inc. and Microsoft.
