Transwestern closes 14,000sf renewal

COCONUT GROVE - Transwestern South Florida announced the 14,434sf lease expansion for Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial, LLC at SBS Tower, a 22-story Class A office building located at 2601 South Bayshore Drive in Coconut Grove. Transwestern Senior Vice President Rashid Siahpoosh brokered the long-term transaction on behalf of the tenant.

More than doubling their South Florida footprint, the national trial law firm of Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial will relocate within the building from their current 6,667sf office space to occupy the full 15th floor.

The second largest lease in the Coconut Grove submarket completed to date in 2010, both renewing at SBS Tower, Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial weighed market conditions and opportunities and ultimately remained at SBS Tower because of economics, location and growth accommodations, according to Transwestern.
