Design Management Services: Michelle Cottrell

MIAMI - Michelle Cottrell, a Miami businesswoman and member of CREW-Miami, has been honored by the international CREW Network as one of North America’s “20 Under 40” influential young women in commercial real estate.

Cottrell is president of Design Management Services, an environmental design consulting firm that has won the Top 100 Minority Business award every year since 2006. A Leadership in Energy Efficient Design (LEED) accredited professional and published author, Cottrell recently founded Sustainable Four, a Leadership in Energy Efficient Design (LEED) exam preparation organization.

She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida’s College of Architecture and is currently working towards earning a Master’s of Business Administration in Sustainability from the San Francisco Institute of Architecture.
