LandSouth completes first Bella apartments
JACKSONVILLE - LandSouth Construction has completed the resort-style community clubhouse and first apartment building at Bella Apartment Homes, a 432-unit luxury apartment community located four miles west of Disney World’s main entrance in Osceola County.
With costs totaling $56 million, Bella Apartment Homes is currently one of the largest U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Program Section 221 (d) (4) contracts in the state.
The HUD program is for multifamily rental apartments and consists of loans that combine construction and permanent financing for apartments. In addition, the program is for new construction or major rehab projects and contains no rent restrictions, meaning it can be used for market rate or rent restricted properties.
The community’s resort-style clubhouse includes an Olympic-sized pool, spa, putting green, fitness center and tot lot. When complete, Bella Apartment Homes will contain 432 luxury apartment units in 12 four-story elevator buildings with parking for 864 cars. One-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments are available ranging in size from 834sf to 1,336sf.
