GAINESVILLE - The University of Florida’s new $20 million Southwest Parking Garage Complex is the only parking facility in the Southeastern U.S. to be selected by the National Building Museum, Washington, D.C., for its international House of Cars Exhibition. Completed this summer, the complex was designed by the Boca Raton office of PGAL, a national architectural/engineering firm, to meet criteria for the highest LEED certification category, LEED Platinum.
The garage complex includes a six-level, 313,000sf parking garage (927 spaces) and an attached, 10,000sf, two-story Transportation and Parking Services office building.
