Harkins closes medical office deals
ORLANDO - Harkins Commercial Inc., the brokerage, leasing and property management division of Sanford-based Harkins Companies, closed seven Orlando-area medical office transactions in August valued at $2.5 million, according to Harkins Commercial’s broker/owner Mark Harkins.
Harkins’ five latest office leases and two freestanding building sales included:
- A 66-month, 4,288sf lease at Equity One’s Lake Mary Village at 3261 Lake Emma Road, Lake Mary, representing tenant Yachter Health Holdings.
- A seven-year, 1,450sf lease at RP Realty Partners’ Baldwin Park at 1814 Jack Street, Orlando, representing tenant Dr. Isaac Hernandez
- A 1,500sf lease at 2605 Lake Mary Blvd., Lake Mary, to Dr. R. Espaillat, representing landlord Karibu Investments Inc.
- A 1,500sf lease at 1400 Lexington Green Lane, Sanford, representing Lex15 LLC, landlord, and Dr. Saad Kahn, tenant.
- A 1,402sf lease at 1450 Citrus Medical Court adjacent HealthCentral Hospital, Ocoee, representing Dr. Paul Hettinger, landlord.
- A $690,000 and $680,000 sale of New Horizons Real Estate Investments’ 3,128sf medical office buildings at 10931 and 10945 Dylan Loren Circle, respectively, in Orlando.
Harkins Commercial represented landlord New Horizons in the first sales transaction and both New Horizons and tenant Advanced Cardiac Care in the second. Frank Dever, managing director of Harkins Commercial, provided landlord representation for Karibu Investments Inc. and Lex15 LLC.
